Buses to and from Barcelona Airport (BCN)

City bus services leave the airport for bus terminal Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) on Plaça Espanya via line 46 on regular 16 minutes intervals throughout the day. The service stops additionally at El Prat de Llobregat and L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. At the airport the Barcelona Airport buses for line 46 leave from T1 on Level 0 Arrivals, from outside the Cargo Terminal, from T2B departures and from T2B’s technical block as well as T2C on the external access road.

Aerobús is a privately owned bus operator offering bus services from Plaça Catalunya, Urgell and Plaça Espanya in central Barcelona to the airport. The A1 and A2 Barcelona Airport buses takes 35 minutes to reach the city. During peak times the buses run every 5 minutes; the A1 buses stop at T1, Level 0 Arrivals and Level 3 Departures.

A2 airport buses leave for the city centre every 10 minutes during peak times, also taking 35 minutes for the journey to Plaça Catalunya in central Barcelona. Additional stops are located at the Cargo Terminal, T2B Arrivals and at the T2C internal access road.

Line 77 buses from Barcelona Airport link with San Joan Despi, also stopping at El Prat de Llobregat, San Boi de Llobregat and Cornellá de Llobregat. Intercity buses from the airport cover via the Empresa Pana service the La Granadell, Tarragona and Barcelona route. These buses stop at Torredembarra, Tarragona, La Pineda, Port Aventura, Salou, Cambrils and Reus among other Catalonia destinations. These buses leave from the Level 0 Arrivals zone at T1.

Mon Bus services link Barcelona with El Vendrell, also stopping at Velvitge, the airport, Ribes, Stiges, Rocamar, Roquetes, Vilanova, Cubelles, Cunit, Segur, Calafell and El Vendrell. The bus stop is at Level 0 Arrivals at Terminal 1.

Sarfa buses from Barcelona’s airport provide passengers with three alternative routes, leaving from T2 and stopping also at the PC car park. During the main summer season there are bus services to L’Estartit and Cadaqués and one line serves all year round the route to Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar.

Bus operator Alsa offers the route Barcelona El Prat to Figueres, Girona and Lleida. These buses leave from Terminal 1 Level 0 Arrivals and from Terminal 2B Departures. Girona is located approximately 62 miles / 99 km distance from Barcelona’s El Prat airport. The city is a popular tourist destination thanks to a wonderful historic town centre with Cathedral and old walled fortifications. Sant Pere de Galligants, a Benedictine church in the early Romanesque style, the old Jewish Quarter with the Catalan Jewish Museum and the Collegiate Church of Sant Feliu overlooking the river Onyar are highlights on a sightseeing tour.

DirectBus operates a regular service between the airport and Sant Juliá de Lòria and Andorra la Vella. These buses leave from Terminal 1 Level 0 Arrivals and from Terminal T2B Departures.

Bus operator Novatel offers the Barcelona El Prat to Andorra route, leaving from Terminal 1 Level 0 Arrivals and the PB car park at the airport.

Barcelona Bus line 614 links the airport with Mataró as well as several towns in Blanes and Maresme. The service leaves from the PC car park at the airport.
