Buses at Fuerteventura Airport

The airport is connected to the capital city by three public bus lines. They continue from the capital to several tourist destinations, so you can select one based on your final goal. The bus station is located by the exit on the airport's ground floor.

  • Bus Line 16: Airport – Puerto del Rosario – Gran Tarajal. Also, a somewhat irregular route into the city. Therefore when taking it, be sure to check the schedule.
  • Bus Line 3: Airport – Puerto del Rosario – Caleta de Fuste-Las Salinas. In general, buses run every 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the time of day. Buses run hourly in the late night hours between 10:00 pm and midnight. If you choose to use this route, be sure to verify the cost and schedule. Make sure to check the prices and timetable when taking this route.
  • Bus Line 10: Airport – Puerto del Rosario – Morro Jable. Since there are only a few departures each day on this route, it is advised that you check the bus timetable.

To get to the island's capital, Puerto del Rosario, as well as the popular tourist sites Caleta del Fuste and Las Salinas, take Line 3 from the airport. Every day from 6:30 am until 12:30 am, buses run. It takes 15 minutes to get from the airport to Puerto del Rosario's main bus stop.

All buses at Fuerteventura Airport depart from the bus stop outside the ground floor of the main terminal. And it takes 5 to 10 minutes to walk from the bus station to the center of Puerto del Rosario.
