Trains to and from Badajoz Airport (BJZ)

Although no direct trains connect the airport to Madrid or other Spanish cities, travelers can also get around without needing to rent a car or spend much money on gas if they choose public transport. Buses frequently run between Badajoz Airport and many surrounding areas, including the train station.

For less than 20 Euros, a taxi will whisk you from Badajoz Airport to the train station in record time.

About Badajoz Railway Station

The Badajoz train station serves as the city's primary rail hub. The station is part of the Adif and high-speed rail systems and is commonly referred to by its Spanish acronym, RENFE. It is situated at the western end of the Southwest-Portuguese high-speed line.

The only train station in Badajoz can be found in the city's northern section. The station serves Renfe, a public transportation company that operates both long- and medium-distance trains.
