Trains to and from Alicante Airport (ALC)

A nearby metro or train station at Alicante Airport needs to be added. Although this eventuality was not foreseen, a space was set aside in the new NAT terminal's basement for the arrival of tram and train passengers from Alicante.

Modern trams, light rail, and tram trains come together in Alicante TRAM (or "TRAM Metropolità d'Alacant" in Valencian). It has five tram lines (L1, L2, L3, L4, and L9) that travel to various neighborhoods in Alicante proper (region A) and other cities and villages along the Costa Blanca coast, such as Benidorm and Denia.

Assume you want to take the TRAM to any city in the region. To get to the Costa Blanca cities of Alicante, Benidorm, and Denia from Alicante Airport (near the municipality of El Altet), you'll need to rent a car, use a taxi, use a private transfer service, or take a bus line C6, which connects the airport with the TRAM Luceros Station.

It takes around 1 hour and 12 minutes to go from Luceros station in Alicante to Luceros station on the L1 train-tram line, which makes multiple stops in the city and along the coast (for a total of 21 stations).

You can take the TRAM line L9 from Benidorm to Denia and other destinations along the coast.

Allows interchange with L2, L3, L4, and L9 TRAM lines.

You can reach Train-Tram d'Alacant at (900) 72-04-72.
