Bus Services at Valverde Airport

Buses are popular and the most used public transportation in El Hierro. They have been one of the most reliable transports on the island.

Transhierro Bus line is responsible for the daily transport services of the residents and public commuters in the area. It also serves the airport with one bus route linking the island's capital to the airport.

Line 10 serves Valverde Airport. The opening schedule of bus transport to the airport starts at 7:45 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 NN, 2:00 PM, 3:45 PM, 4:45 PM, and 6:00 PM. The trip to Valverde town proper opens at 9:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:45 PM, 3:15 PM, 4:30 PM, 5:45 PM, and 6:45 PM.

Note that bus schedules are subject to change depending on the flight schedules. For bus rates, a single or one-way trip is €1.28. A travel voucher is also available. The travel voucher for 10 bus trips is €10.00. The travel voucher for 20 trips is sold for €19.00. A travel voucher for 30 trips costs €28.00.
