Trains to and from Murcia Airport (RMU)

Unfortunately, Murcia Airport does not have its own subway or train stop. Even so, Jetbus transports riders to the Murcia bus terminal (tickets cost 5.00 euros per person). The closest mainline line train station is only 10 kilometers away in Balsicas-Mar Menor.

The AVE high-speed rail line between Murcia and Madrid opened to the public on December 19, 2022. The average journey time is just 2 hours and 45 minutes, with 8 departures per day.

Murcia del Carmen Railway Station

The Murcia del Carmen Station serves as the city's primary rail hub. Through lines C-1 and C-2, the Cercanas Murcia/Alicante commuter rail system links Murcia del Carmen with the Alicante railway station and guilas.

High-speed Alvia trains travel on the Madrid-Levante line until they reach Albacete, where they switch to the traditional rail lines for the remainder of their journey to Murcia and Cartagena. The stations of Valencia Nord and Barcelona Sants are also served by Talgo.
